MARIANNE JONES, Founder and Principal Designer
As Principal Designer and founder, Marianne leads the firm's creative vision while transforming her clients' design aspirations into carefully crafted spaces.
Her journey to interior design began in fine art and marketing, culminating in the launch of her firm in 2010 after executing several significant residential renovations.
Marianne's distinctive aesthetic and meticulous attention to detail quickly drew prestigious Michigan clients, eventually expanding her practice nationwide. This success led to the opening of a second office in California in 2022.
Marianne holds countless design awards, is featured in top-tier design publications, and boasts a long roster of residential and commercial clients across the country. While she’s known for a style that’s classic and inviting, Marianne believes in creating spaces that reflect the personalities that live there.
Whether it’s a gray-shingled Nantucket getaway for a family of five or an office space for an avant-garde beauty brand, Marianne always designs with people in mind and draws inspiration from every client conversation, translating their stories and aspirations into thoughtfully designed spaces that enhance how they live and work.

Her comprehensive education spans continents and disciplines—beginning with architectural studies in Delhi, followed by a Master of Interior Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona and an MBA from the University of the Cumberlands. This unique blend of creative and strategic expertise shaped her approach during five years in commercial and residential design before joining Marianne Jones in 2023.

Her architectural background enhances her ability to anticipate needs and solve challenges proactively, while her passion for service excellence creates an engaging and supportive experience for clients throughout their design journey. As a licensed builder and operations strategist, Tim brings precision and business acumen to every project while ensuring seamless execution of the design vision.
His 25-year career as an operations executive in global manufacturing culminated in overseeing the design and construction of a regional manufacturing facility in Auburn Hills, Michigan in 2017. Tim's multifaceted expertise—spanning management, sales, marketing, and human resources—combined with his passion for design excellence, elevates the firm's operational standards and client experience.
Beyond the office, Tim shares his love for precision and skill development as a ski instructor at North Star, embracing the Tahoe lifestyle and community. This balance of technical expertise and dynamic energy infuses his approach to project management, where he artfully blends rigorous attention to detail with creative problem-solving to deliver exceptional results.
